On January 29th, 2025, I had the oppurtunity to go to the Alliance for Natural Health’s luncheon at one of the meeting rooms within the United States Senate.  This event coincided with the first day of Robert Kennedy, Junior’s confirmation hearing for his appointment to the Department of Health and Human Services.

The organizers of this event had former U.S. Senate candidate Jonathan Walker Emord, along with other doctors on the panel.  Jonathan Emord gave a lecture on “Ending Agency Corruption and Restoring Freedom of Choice” in the medical field.

Jonathan Emord stated that in 1999, the Associate Director of the Food and Drug Administration’s Office of Drug Safety famously stated that “the American people are virtually defenseless against the FDA’s approval of unsafe drugs and he furthermore told us that the FDA views the drug industry as its client and that it acts on behalf of its client at the expense of the American people”. This is one of many structural frameworks that exist that Robert Kennedy, Junior seeks to dismantle.

Jonathan Emord spoke of three drugs that were approved by the FDA which were proven to be unsafe for human consumption.  Decades ago, the FDA had minimized the effect of the hard toxicity of the pharmaceutical drug Vioxx after it gave its manufacturer Merck approval to distribute it for public consumption.  As a result, thousands of people died and over 100,000 individuals experienced heart attacks connected to the toxicity accumulated from Vioxx.  FDA Commisioner Lester Crawford stated that he was so confident in the safety and the integrity of the drug, despite evidence in the contrary, that he approved it two weeks before Merck withdrew Vioxx from the market, for the use of pediatric rheumatoid arthritis patients.  Had Merck not voluntarily ended the distribution of Vioxx, the FDA would have allowed its continued use at the expense of more American lives.

You can find the FDA’s Postmarket Analysis on Vioxx here:

Johnathan Emord, along with Robert Verkerk, have written a book titled “The MAHA Mandate”.   The Alliance for Natural Health is providing this book online through its website:

Robert Kennedy, Junior is keenly aware of the need to reform the FDA.  I encourage you to contact former Republican Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, to convert his no vote for Kennedy to a yes, and to contact Democrat John Fetterman who has been seen as a possible yes vote.  The confirmation vote for Robert Kennedy, Junior should be held on the first week of February.
